A-grade Target Rifle Rankings Derivation Data
Rankings are currently unavailable. NRAA apologises for the inconvenience and will have these rankings posted shortly.
The NRAA Board has a policy regarding the accumulation and processing of points for the purposes of deriving rankings.
- A-grade, F-class Standard A Grade and F-class Open results are all now taken into account. Where Divisions are used (such as in WA) Divisions 1 & 2 are combined to determine places.
- Ranking is based on points allocated for place achieved, and not on scores (which vary because of match and weather conditions). In the case of A-grade, the top 50 in a Queens get points (from 50 down to 1) and the top 30 in a Queens Lead-up (from 30 down to 1). The same applies to both F-class’s except that the number of points decrement by 5 per place. This means only the top 10 and 6 places are counted for Queens and Lead-up’s respectively.
- Bonus points are allocated as follows for the first three places in the Queens Prize only.

- Points hold their value for a specified number of months. Current policy is 3. After those three months points diminish in value on a daily basis at at rate of 1 1/2 points per month (.049315 points per day). This means that current performance holds more value than past performance.
- The best six results (based on diminished points value) over the previous two years count towards the ranking.
